Getting Started with Support Unicorn #
Welcome to Support Unicorn! This guide will help you set up your account and start providing better customer support in under 10 minutes.
Step 1: Create an AI Agent #
Create an AI agent and configure it. The Support Unicorn AI agent is capable of answering questions from your knowledge base (website, PDFs, and even custom answers). It also has the capability to call APIs and manipulate data from custom APIs.
Step 2: Add Channels to Your AI Agent #
Channels help connect your AI agent to the places where your customers are. This can be live chat, WhatsApp, or SMS. After this step, your customers will be able to talk to the AI agent in the channel of their choice.
Step 3: Add Escalation for Human Handoff (Optional) #
This step helps you add optional human handoff to the platform of your choice. For instance, if you want to speak to all customers who want to cancel their subscription, you can configure the AI agent to redirect the conversation to Zendesk. When your support agent replies to a Zendesk ticket, it is automatically routed to the customer.
Step 4: Start Supporting Customers #
That's it! You're all set up. When customers message you:
- The AI Agent will check your knowledge base for the correct data to reply.
- The AI Agent will also check if any of your custom actions need to be called.
- The AI Agent will perform the operation based on the user query and construct the message based on your custom configuration.
- The AI Agent will reply to the customer.
